Collective Whole
Society is currently modelled to serve the best interest of the individual, while considering the collective whole. A new system must be put in place to serve the best interest of the collective whole, while considering the individual. This can be witnessed as one individual, family, corporation or nation can hold enormous wealth while other individuals, families, corporations or nations hold relatively little in comparison. If this system was reversed, or re-engineered to serve the collective whole, then land-use allocation, principals of commerce, systems of education and governance, and general valuation of human and physical resources would be drastically different than what is considered normal in the world today. When referring to the best interest of the ‘collective whole’, we refer to the best interest of a world nation, where each individual had equal rights to the basic necessities of life as well as the intellectual, spiritual and other developmental pursuits privy to individuals of a privileged socioeconomic bloodline. The barest truth of the matter is that the world today doesn’t reflect our potential as intelligent creatures with the capacity to communicate, work together, and apply strategic foresight in the abstraction of the minds eye. With the total accumulation of information, experience, consolidated resource and spiritual wisdom we could end poverty, ongoing pollution, war and other distructive and discordant practices of behaviour in a matter of a few years. The challenge is that so many individuals are addicted to life as we know it, and lack the experiential understanding to clearly imagine a world any other way. This blind faith in the way things are perpetuate a compliance with a way of life that is not sustainable beyond a few more generations, to be generous. Another challenge is that shifting course in such a large and archaic ship may cause a series of other problems if the world population in general isn’t on board with the new wave. Attitudes of capitalization manufacture a culture of opportunists who seek to profit at weaknesses in system design, and attitudes of capitalization have been dominant in the paradigms that govern daily life all over the industrialized world since the beginning. Therefore a sudden course correction towards egalitarianism is a paradox for most, because in attempting to do the right thing on a global platform we may consequently forgo our ability to maintain advantageous positioning in a world where others seek to dominate. Just as this paradox exists on the Global stage, it also exists for individuals who seek to behave in a environmentally and socially conscious way, but find that this behaviour on it’s own isn’t sustainable economically. Therefore, most individuals must volunteer their time, energy and often resources when seeking to serve a greater good, and then balance their remaining available time with other economically driven careers and personal responsibilities of daily life. I believe the art, opportunity and challenge awaiting us, as a human species, is re-integrating a livelihood that serves a genuine social and environmental purpose as well as generating an economic flow. After some time, however, if our species ever truly evolves, then we will disregard the current economic model all together. Where currently people must work at jobs in order to survive, the future will take care of each individual by default, and work related ambitions will be to provide a more substantial social and environmental benefit. In this context, I believe a spiritual nature and general aim for personal improvement may also begin to prevail in the individuals of this planet. Education paradigms aimed to facilitate a transformation into true health, wellness and spiritual development will...

Life is a spiral, and consciousness is no exception A quote referenced by Bruce Lee sums the evolution of consciousness very eloquently, if not in the context of mastering martial arts. It goes something like this: “Before I studied the art, a punch was just a punch. A kick, just a kick. While studing the art, a punch became much more than just a punch. A kick, much more than just a kick. Now that I know the art, a punch is just a punch. A kick, just a kick.” This quote exemplifies the transitions we, as humans with concepts of self, ascend through. When born, and before the age of roughly 2, the concept of separation does not exist in terms of how those of latter years understand. For example, when looking into the mirror, a child will not recognize themselves. Their ‘ego’ has yet to reach a key developmental stage. And thusly, less division is seen. Fantasy is reality, and all is one. However, when growing older, the mind develops patterns to interpret and acclimatize to the overwhelming world around. This is done by identifying forms. ‘This’ is identified as a ‘tree’, and ‘that’ is called a car. The tree has different principals and characteristics than the car, and ‘I’ relate to these two mental forms in unique ways respondent to those particular forms. If we were to walk through life having to figure out every process all over again, and from scratch, then there would be far too much sensory input for us to navigate through life. And so speed this process along, conditioned responses, such a stumping your toe, are tethered with culturally reinforced assumptions, like not jumping off a 10 story building. Through this process of separation and analyses, much of the scientific worldview exists. Provable, measurable. This is also considered a phase of intelligence by most people. ..Like knowing the most facts. But there is a phase that the separation returns to oneness. And here, rather than defining one ‘form’ from another, and seeing the difference between them,, we begin to see the connection, the relationship, and how beyond the myriad illusions of form, there is a common essential oneness. And it is here, at this point in time and space, that a punch is just a punch. A kick, just a...

Manifestation is a process of co-creation This means that as our internal world emits a resonant frequency extending through our perception, thus effecting the physical through our reactions. Many examples are noted. Including, but not limited to social interactions when we are happy, sad, angry, etc. Shapes our interpretation of the messages given, and our relative feelings of security in those situations. Equally, our external world shapes our internal state by reinforcing social norms, providing us with abundance or lack, facing us with challenges, learning experiences and other processes that define our psyche , concept of self and interpretation of future events and past recalls. Therefore, to cultivate a healthy future, the shaping internal processes supported by a safe external environment is...

The topic of this blog is evolving conciousness, and the physical manifestation in terms of sustainable and regenerative communal living. I have been visiting and building relationships with communities from Ontario to BC, California to NewZealand, and at the years end will be journeying around the world to visit these and many many more. The goal and purpose is to learn, build relationships and tied the movements together via the Rejuvenation Network. Conducting research, defining measures of community success, and creating a global communications platform are also efforts that I will be undertaking. So far, what I have observed and intuited about what makes a intentional eco-community successful are the relationships between those involved. …Just like 99.99…% of our Universe is empty space, it’s that space where the magic is free to manifest and where the connections between all things unseen exist. Knoledge and access to information is the next important step, so that future generations can build upon the work accomplished by humanities legacy. But this is an important portion of debate since much of the information we inherit about cultural norms, value, dangers, communication, methods, etc. are not the most efficient, effective nor virtuous. And therefore the ability to access the right information, pair with the ability decifer what is relavent is the real key to this form of communication. Following that, it’s appropriate use of technology. In many ways, on a hiarcy of needs, this access to technology comes first. However these observations are coming, not in terms of an evolutionary perspective, but in terms of the present world situation and how individuals coaless together in order to co-create a better way of living and working together. Technology surrounds us, from shovels, fertilizers, vehicles, language, structural materials, etc. And the appropriate use of this technology has caused one of the primary global threats our civilizations, and all life on this planet, now face. Rather than using highly unstable nuclear energy, disposable petroleum based materials, or items with built-in obsolescence choosing the right balance of technology that have the capacity of enhancing the quality of life, nature and the world around WHILE also not distracting us too much from our environment and the methods of behaviour that ground the human mind in the dirt of mother Earth. These are 3 elements to successful sustainable and communal living. But as the world at large grows and expands, a degree of interconnection and coordination with other social entities is also a necessity for an emerging worldview of unity conciousness to change the course of destructive habits into those of peaceful and abundant living while in harmony with those around. So in these terms, a higher application of virtual technology can be applied. However, in this context there are dangers as the engineered conduit of communication will be the frame of which all dialogue exists within. And this is what I aim to create, with the help of the Rejuvenation Network and Social Enterprise, while also operating in conjunction with the other social benefit endeavours happening world-wide synergisticly. Some base level needs of community success that I illuded to, but overlooked, are those of spiritual development and concious awareness. As each individual represents themselves, as well as the expressions of those around them through the subjective interpretation of external information, an evolved emotional and spiritual level of conciousness is needed in order for a group to work through challenges and build solutions as a dynamic social...
